Shawn Kimmel is co-founder of XPress INC, a marketing company serving the unique needs of small businesses and private healthcare practitioners. Though the company has extensive experience with dental marketing, their clients span a variety of industries.
Shawn and his partner, Hans, built XPress around the basic philosophy that the company is a partner in the success of every client and that speed of service and good communication in essential for that success. They make it a rule to provide an exceptional level of personalized attention, good communication and rapid service—really whatever it takes to make that client win.
In addition to the above, Shawn keeps himself connected to the real world of dental marketing as the Chief Marketing Officer for StarBrite, a highly successful dental practice in Maryland. Under Shawn’s management of marketing, the practice grew from $2 million per year in revenues to $6 million by greatly expanding their online presence and strategically reactivating their patient base. Shawn is in the unique position, then, of playing both roles in the marketing industry: as a member of the management team in a dental office with real-world needs, and also as the owner of a marketing agency with hands-on experience in meeting those needs.
Shawn has worked with hundreds of general dentists and specialists, including oral surgeons, brokers, small businesses and a variety of professionals to take their practices and businesses to the next level. As no two businesses are the alike, he consults one-on-one with clients and devises custom marketing strategies to increase new business and revenue from their existing customer base.
Extensively trained in administration and marketing, Shawn has built XPress INC into a successful business which prides itself on results. His expertise and accomplishments have also made Shawn a sought-after speaker at practice management conferences.
When he is not immersed in marketing, Shawn spends as much time as he can with his wife and four young children. He also enjoys charity work for his church and supports the Special Olympics of Maryland and Drug Free World.
